The Aesthetic Standard is an independent UK platform that reviews and verifies aesthetic clinics, publishes expert treatment guides, and helps patients find trusted practitioners for advanced aesthetic treatments across London, Manchester and Birmingham.

We created The Aesthetic Standard to be an independent resource for people researching aesthetic procedures in the UK. Our focus is on providing clear, accurate treatment information alongside detailed clinic profiles, so that patients can make informed decisions with confidence. We work with clinics and practitioners to present their credentials, expertise and patient experience accurately in one place.

The Aesthetic Standard was founded by Panita Vig. With a background spanning 15 years in the regulated care sector, Panita brings a clinical governance and patient safety perspective to a fast-growing industry where patients don’t always know the right questions to ask. The Aesthetic Standard was built to help patients research advanced aesthetic treatments with confidence, and to help the best clinics get found by the patients who are looking for them.

All clinical content on The Aesthetic Standard is medically reviewed by Dr Preema Vig, a GMC-registered physician (GMC 4479262), Full Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and aesthetic medicine practitioner with 17 years of experience. Dr Preema Vig reviews all treatment guides and clinic content for clinical accuracy before publication.

We research, review, and list clinics offering advanced aesthetic treatments across the UK. Our current treatment coverage includes CO2 laser resurfacing, polynucleotides, Sculptra® , and Profhilo® .

Each clinic listed on our platform has two dedicated profile pages. A general clinic profile covering the practitioner, qualifications, location and patient reviews, and a treatment profile for each featured treatment covering pricing, clinical perspective from the practitioner, patient experience and before and after results. We also publish in-depth treatment guides to help people understand what a procedure involves before they book a consultation.

Before any clinic appears on The Aesthetic Standard, our editorial team reviews practitioner credentials, statutory registration, professional memberships, accreditation status, patient reviews and before and after results. We speak directly with the lead practitioner at every clinic and where possible with patients who have undergone treatment there.

We do not guarantee treatment outcomes. Aesthetic treatments carry risks, and results vary between individuals. We encourage every patient to attend a consultation, ask questions, and make an informed decision before proceeding with any treatment.

Like trusted review guides in other industries, we charge clinics a flat annual fee to cover the cost of our review process, content production and platform maintenance. This is not a commission model, a lead generation fee or advertising, it is a straightforward listing fee. The fee covers the work we do to build and maintain each clinic’s profile pages, not the outcome of our review. Clinics are reviewed before any fee is discussed. Only clinics that meet our criteria are invited to be listed.

We currently cover aesthetic clinics in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, with plans to expand to additional UK cities including Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Bristol coming soon.
